So I got called Friday morning and informed that my starting date is Tuesday. Which, on the one hand, good to know, and that's an extra week's pay (well, four days' pay) going into my budget, and I'd been told a week ago that was my likely starting point. Still at home, and had my second conversation of the week with my recruiter earlier this afternoon. I was told on Tuesday afternoon that my drug test results were back (clean, of course) and had been sent on to my future employer, and that my recruiter was waiting to be e-mailed back with my start date.
